Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990 ) was born in Massachusetts. He was a pianist and conductor who also composed beautiful pieces. Music brought him great joy, and he listened to and enjoyed all kinds of it. Many people suggested he’d be better off if he chose one of his favorite branches of music and focused on it. But Leonard didn’t want to be just a pianist, a conductor, or a composer. He wanted to do all three. He was very talented.
