Capitol Day is coming up soon! Oklahoma has the longest-running Homeschool Capitol Day in the entire nation – and it has paid off by making us the most free state for homeschooling. Join us for Capitol Day 2026 on February 3!

Capitol Day is the primary vehicle through which Oklahoma homeschoolers make their voice known to their legislators. We have hosted Capitol Day every year for over 40 years to ensure that Oklahoma remains the best state in the nation for homeschooling freedom.

Capitol Day Roles
Capitol Day needs you! We have roles for every level of involvement for you to participate in. Want to just come and bring your family to join in our yearly rally, so legislators know how enthusiastic and engaged homeschoolers are? We’ve got a spot for you! Want to deliver cookies and say thank you to our legislators for their hard work? Sign up! Want to meet with legislators discuss in-depth how important homeschooling freedom is? We’ve got a space for that, too!
Find out more information about each of our specialized roles:
- Participant – no special information needed, show up by 10:30 AM for the rally!
- Ally – deliver cookies to our legislators and say thank you! Allies show up early on Capitol Day and deliver boxes of cookies to each legislator to say thank you for their hard work! Find more details here.
- Ambassador – visit our legislators one-on-one to let them know how vital homeschooling freedom is for our state! Discuss any bills of concern, as well as why homeschooling freedom is so important. Find more details here.
- Prayer Warrior – every good thing needs prayer support! If you sign up to pray for us, we have a 28-day prayer guide for things that would help us both before and continuing after Capitol Day. Find more details here.
- Cookie Baker – cookie bakers make all of the great goodies that the allies deliver! Find out more details here.
