Destination Imagination Opportunities
Destination Imagination is a non-profit organization encouraging young people (K-12) to form teams to solve challenges. The kids work together and learn many socialization skills, management skills and learn through the research necessary to solve their challenges. They have fun using music, theatre, dance, and improv to show all that they have learned. DI is? a fun, educational tool that takes kids outside the box. LIGHTSABERS/Liao Robotics Club is a competitive, community-based robotics team in south Oklahoma City. Our team focuses on skill development, sound engineering principles, and devotion to teamwork.

Boys and Girls State: Homeschool high school juniors may participate in a program of Americanism and good citizenship. Mango is available in two versions. One is Mango Complete, a 100-lesson course that is designed to provide a full understanding of an entire language and its culture. It is available in nine foreign languages and three ESL courses. The second is Mango Basic, which teaches everyday greetings, gratitudes, goodbyes, and helpful phrases in a short period of time and is designed to appeal to a beginner in a new language. The courses, which require only two to five hours of time to complete, are currently available in 22 foreign languages and 14 English as a Second Language (ESL) courses. Boy Scout Troop 30 & Cub Scout Pack 30 holds these qualities dear and is inviting homeschooled boys to join their groups. Our troop and pack serve the homeschooling community of the NW OKC area and meet near Council & Hefner on Monday nights. Boy Scouts is for boys 11 – 18 and Cub Scouts is for boys 6-10. The Scouting program adds to the homeschooling experience by providing boys with valuable comradeship, adventure, and leadership opportunities.
