HSOK exists to serve all families desiring to home educate their children. We strive to make HSOK membership a good value by keeping the price modest, and by providing ongoing, year-round support, including but not limited to:
- quality leadership training
- education for home teachers
- field trip opportunities
- encouragement for parents
- annual gatherings at the state capitol
- effective legislative interaction
- lobbying updates and legislative alerts
HSOK hosts Oklahoma’s only annual home education conference which includes many speakers and vendors and a variety of helpful, encouraging workshops. That said, we understand that many families are stretched financially by the high calling of home education. Therefore, we have established a limited scholarship fund for membership for those families for whom it is financially burdensome to support HSOK.
